June Gloom and Paint

June in Los Angeles feels a little bit like Portland. The sun hides behind overcast clouds all day and makes you want to curl up with a blanket (with the A/C blasting because it’s way too hot to do so without it), cup of tea, good read and a loved one.

My loved one was out tonight, so I ditched the scenario above and went to hang out with my friend Elise. We sat in her living room and I watched her paint and sketch beautiful things that I can only dream of painting and sketching. Her pinky fingernail has more creativity in it than most people I’ve ever met.

Exhibit A is below and these literally took her a few minutes to do. They were mere doodles to her. I hope you see these and feel inspired to CREATE.

For now I must be going. Talk soon, friends!
